Art Beyond the Canvas

There is something deeply meaningful about seeing art move beyond the canvas and into everyday life. What once lived only as paint, color, and texture in my studio has now found its way onto clothing, tote bags, mugs, and other pieces designed to travel with people through their daily journeys. The Hearthflower mandala began as an exploration of mindfulness, warmth, growth, and inner reflection, but transforming it into wearable art gives it a new purpose — becoming part of someone’s story instead of simply hanging on a wall. I love the idea that art can bring comfort, spark conversation, or simply add a little beauty to an ordinary moment. Creating these pieces has reminded me that art does not have to stay framed to matter; sometimes it becomes most alive when it is carried into the world.
